What is the significance of the 11:59pm deadline on this final offer? Retail trading is over at 4:00 pm. Any NR after 4:00 pm but before 11:59 pm can still influence institutions to tender. I suspect market trading today will be spent picking off FWR retail by institutions via huge crosstrading of FWR, enticing retail to sell FWR near its capped price of $1 thanks to CLF, and to buy NOT low thanks to NOT's forced retraction on its economic statement on chromite. At some opportune time after 4:00pm NOT will announce its white knight.
