"I have a gut feeling that there could be a halt of NOT on Monday predicated by release
of assay results."
A nice romantic idea but why would they? Firstly NOT doesn't do halts if they can avoid it. Secondly, I don't discount the possibility, just why it should happen as you outline. Consider offering good news in the face of the Martin Falls "unrest". Your gut also presupposes that they have N.R.s sitting on the shelf waiting to be dropped into the news mill. Now having said that, we do know that the office has been promising news of some sort soon. Will it be Monday, Tuesday or the following week? Just when is soon? Hmmmm, could it be possible that upcoming news will involve a dispute resolution plan championed by NOT and supported by the MFFN group? I'll be happy if you're gut is correct though.
On another note, NOT's attempt to take out FWR really seems like fishing and news fodder. Surely NOT new they had no chance to win against CLF given what level they knew they would dilute to and knowing the CLF was seriously interested in FWR and had the money to protect their interests. NOT must surely have known that they were in no position to raise the sp to interest FWR given the sentiment towards NOT and given the quality of news they were putting out. There is no question that NOT has to increase the sp significantly in order to consider any other M&A action and to stay somewhat liquid..... or they would have to have help from a "friend".... who to this point, if "he" exists, hasn't expressed any interest in FWR, or so it would appear.
