With all due respect, the current configuration of the Eagles Nest mineralization might also reflect an original "channel-like" structural trap. It has been speculated that the observed structure is a somewhat "rotated" version of the original. If so, it may have been open in each "channel" direction, but now only in one direction (i.e. downwards) as the other end has been eroded (?).
