Joe I would most heartly welcome a correction from you if I am wrong BUT I do not remember anyone on this forum saying that our true value is, or that we should accept in the region of 2 dollars for our shares.
As Glorieux pointed out, our share price is in the buck and a half region and while it is common for first offers of a buyout to be as low as 30% I suspect everyone on this forum would only laugh at such an offer.
With our current price, I caution every one that we COULD get an offer with a 50 to 100% premium above our current price. Do not overlook the reasoning for our share price being kept this low. In No Way I, and I presume the vast majority here, would say that we should or could sell to such an offer.
I call such an offer merely a feeler and a catalyst for arguments to be presented to the offerer for an improved offer. Also I believe it is rare ( unless previously arranged through a friendly transaction) that a first offer is usually accepted. Usually a haggling period ensues even if there is no second or more offerers.
Yes I will sell a tiny amount ( probably only 500 shares) in the two dollar range should the price reach there without a buyout offer. Another 500 or 1000 if the price goes above 3 dollars. This only represents my day trading strategy and portion and have nothing to do with a potential buy out.
