A very good average for drilling is 60 metres per shift or 120 metres in 24 hours, However this changes remarkable once you pass the 400 metre level where pulling the core tub between runs takes a lot longer. Averages drop to 20-40 metres per shift. I think if you get 40 metres per shift for a 3000 metre hole you are doing very well. If you add in wedges that changes the whole picture
