I agree. I don't think CLF will ever try to take over NOT. CLF is not interested in sulphide ore. That is for Xtrata and Vale and Vale thinks they are having some labour problems in their Canadian operations; so I don't think they are willing to jump right now.

There is an outside chance that CLF will try to take over NOT just to make sure they have all the chromite sewed up and then divest the nickel ore to Vale or Xtrata or some other entity - maybe Chinese.

Regarding any takeover of NOT and this is just a wild guess (as is my wont) look for the strike in Sudbury and Viosey's Bay to be settled before anything will happen on that front. JMHO.
