Not really sure why SG's post was deleted. The logic in it was flawed, but it seemed to be presented in an acceptable fashion. Maybe something I missed when I read it quite quickly.

His reasoning is flawed in that he, like a lot of posters, is making a direct comparison between their attempt at FWR, and the present scenario.

When NOT took it's shot at FWR, it made a lot of sense, in that it would have locked the two biggest finds into one entity, and in doing so, prevent someone such as CLF from taking anyone out with a lowball offer. A NOT/fwr jv would have reaped great rewards to NOT and FWR holders if it had succeeded. That was then, this is now.

CLF is now the bully on the street, and to go head to head against them for either KWG or SPQ, or both would require a huge amount of weaponry, and the prospect of a huge gain if successful. Where is the weapons (cash), and where is the prize if successful?

Just not going to happen, even though I would personally love to see the attempt, as it would pay me great dividends from my SPQ holding.

Best regards

K
