We've been pretty dry of news as of late. When rockstar gives a little info, that a NR is coming soon, we get a new fulcrum on which hinges opposites: 1) stockhouse boards has dread that Cliffs is devouring SP, pushing it down for a cheap buyout. 2) Noront stepouts may be reported.

Hinging somewhere in between lies Sherlock speculation.

Several people speculate that Cliffs isn't interested in buying anymore. I advocate that they'll be going for Fancamp and Noront. Certainly if Cliffs is pushing SP down for a buyout they are interested in the other lands in ROF. If one is willing to concede this, then one can also concede the possibility that they will put an offer for Noront once they conclude SPQ and this drop is simply lack of interest in Noront until Wes gives momentum to create a spark. From here once can easily concede that prior to Noront, they'll put an offer for Fancamp once C-5 proves chromite continuous. Eitherway, once you admit conspiracy you open yourself up to optimistic possibilities as well.

One could also speculate that just like GNH following FWR final offer, Noront and Fancamp are about to get an influx of new investors driving SP up as people sell out of SPQ.

My interpretation is the very fact that JJ says a NR is about to come out, indicates a degree of concern about where the SP is and an attempt to increase it. As we debated today, the decreased SP could indicate that the news could suck, as the SP would have run up if it were a great strike. If I were to assume this accurate, then it is also possible that there are no leaks because the NOT progress is contained to a few people who can control leaks. An onsite XRF analysis would fit this description indicating that the NR JJ indicated is a visual.

Its all speculation. I know one thing. Money follows the ore. New ore discoveries blows away any manipulation. I feel secure in buying Noront right now.
