Orange Flash:
Thanks for pointing out the error in my profile.....truth is, I am from Sudbury, ON Canada as my name suggests...I have now fixed that; so hopefully that won't be an ongoing issue with you.
As for my "recital in such a negative tone", I was just pointing out some of my own personal observations with regards to timing....such as when they first went back to exploration, how long before they began their deep drilling, how long it took to notify shareholders that they were experiencing technical difficulties, ect.
Furthermore, I was trying to lay out some reasons perhaps why our share price is where it is.....what I think shareholders expectations were and what is actually being delivered...with the money from the last PP....
I do worry that we could soon face another PP at this rediculous low share price or that they will issue more stock options to themselves, or worse yet, get taken out at a slight premium to where we are priced now.
I, like most here, think that our share price should be much higher, which is why I am still invested. So I question why our share price is being held down at this level so successfully. Is it because of something I said?
Truth is we can't blame the market anymore. I have several stocks that are breaking new 52 week highs, while NOT sits very near a 52 week low. And honestly, that is the one I am most hopeful about.
You don't think that the market has certain expectations from management.....do you think management is meeting those expectations? That, to me, is the story behind our share price....meeting/not meeting expectations. Is management aware of this? Surely they are.
Now you can say all you want about consperacy theories, but I beleive that our share price is where it is because that is where this management wants it to be.....for whatever reason....cheap stock options, PP's at low prices to their friends....whatever.....that's what I beleive....and everything I have seen from this group continues to support my thinking. And until I see something otherwise, I will continue to beleive that.
10 reasons why I believe that: in no particular order
1) they made such a point of RN not listing on the TSX.....two years later, no word yet
2) countless delays
3) events surrounding July 15, 2009 and management's reaction
4) management's silence with regards to our current share price
5) how in most if not all interviews, Wes feels the need to point out the remoteness and other challenges
6) the failed takeover of FWR, which NOT management initiated
7) the halt which occured due to poor wording of an otherwise postive news release, coupled with two other positive news releases within 24 hours....the result being a lower share price
8) PP's and stock options granted since this management team took over
9) treatment of retail shareholders in general
10) reputation
In conclusion:
It may seem a bit of a stretch to blame management for where our share price is. Perhaps for some, it makes more sence to blame posters like myself.
