Hi djo
You're so right. Holding back info isn't condoned, and rightly so.
I'm being a bit facious, but it seems a bit of a joke when we talk about the
OSC "regulating" something!
Haven't we all been screaming for months on end about the continued daily
manipulation of NOT's stock and yet, the OSC continues to state there is no unusual
trading in NOT. Recently, there was 1,000 point "flash" drop in the U.S. market in a
matter of minutes. High speed computer trading is supposedly the cause, but the NYSE
cannot explain it. (P & G stock plummeted from over $40 to .01 in minutes!) Your OSC
probably would say nothing irregular happened!
A previous poster asked... .."does anybody buy or sell a hundred shares in the retail sector or is it the institutions manipulating the price?"
The OSC, and our Securities Exchange Comission (SEC), are on the same page. The little investor's pleas for help are ignored, and the abuse continues. Certainly many Americans continue to exit the U.S. stock market because they no longer trust it! Hyper computer trading and lack of regulation has driven them away in droves. They will not be back anytime soon. Wall Street greed and unethical practices have again destroyed the market for Mr. and Mrs. Joe 6 pack.
Noront's stock will go up only when the big institutions want it to go up!
It's pathetic really....
