"Perhaps it became obvious to him that he'd have a hell of time trying to accomplish at NOT what transpired at Aurelian, lots of nice little gold companies out there these days.."
A good read. Rob. I have always been curious as to why he joined our ranks and was totally opposed to it at the time, as I put him in the same class as Robert Friedland. While my personal impression of them hasn't changed, I have grown to understand that either one of them is exactly what this ship needs.
In the lead up to the AGM, there were rumblings on the rumor trail that an upset was coming and that maybe, just maybe PFNA was going to roust Wes from his position at the top. As it turned out, the rebellion may or may not have occurred, but if it did, Wes won the day, and PFNA left.
The above is only speculation, and the other one is that PFNA has plans for us, and feels he can better accomplish them from a distance.
I guess the real difference here is that because of past history, we would be able to foresee to some extent what either one of these individuals is going to do. We may not be happy with the results, but if we could know where we are going, we could act accordingly. Hell, even a prostitute knows for sure what is coming, and so is able to take precautions.
But with SFF, you never know for sure whether it has been done before, so the results are unknown. We appear to be sailing rudderless. first we are after nickel, then we switch to chrome, then back to nickel, then to deep nickel, then to new nickel, and now maybe we will switch over to copper/zinc for the next round. Who knows.
What happens as we travel thru this coming winter season is anybody's guess. Our attempts to change it will likely fail, and in doing so it will cost us. Our attempts, though, to understand what is transpiring, and act accordingly, may result in an opportunity to profit, and that is where my efforts will be concentrated.
Best regards
