Douger, it's pretty easy for you to shoot holes in From Sudbury's analysis, just as it was pretty easy for From Sudbury to shoot holes in certain management decisions.
It's a whole different story when you're the guy actually at the reins.
Bottom line, the market does not like what's happened with NOT over the last couple of years.
To those who touted this as such a sure thing, many of whom are long gone, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I'm sure many that could not afford it, over-invested in NOT. Hopefully, many learned valuable lessons.
Ultimately, who knows, NOT's come back from the dead at least once before.
As for management, well, NOT is a Canadian resource company. The level of scoundrels in that area has not been historically insignificant, and it's all part of the risk of owning such stocks. Again, there are scoundrels everywhere, but I think in these junior miners, the risk is somewhat greater in this area. Not saying our management are crooked, or incompetent, they may well be neither, but then maybe the project isn't quite as good as we all thought several years ago.
Essentially, a crap shoot, and more so than most stocks, so never get greedy and never fully buy into "board leaders," the agendas among posters are multiple and varied.
