Community Well-Being Baseline Study

Dr. Ben Bradshaw, an associate professor University of Guelph will be here during the first two weeks in April to meet with the community and to launch the study.
This baseline study will identify the social and cultural indicators of the community to prepare for engagement with resource development in the EFN traditional territory for the Ring of Fire.
The study is funded by MNDMF.

Power Authority

The Eabametoong Power Authority is running into a deficit in its operations heading into the end of the fiscal year March 31, 2011. This deficit is due to the higher diesel fuel prices resulting from world crisis.
Notice is hereby given that the power rates will go up effective April 1, 2011.
