"Any announcements that the Ontario government will make now are election related. They do not want to give out the goodies too early lest the electorate forgets about them come election day."
Not only.
I would have to make allowance for the gov't still being in negotiations for who's gonna do what in the ROF and the north. CLF sits back and implies maybe we will and maybe we won't in Ontario because you guys gotta take your taxes down and your hydro down. So now the question is how much give and take will there be on all levels? So, do people think they're gonna reveal that stuff in the budget document? Don't think so.....not time yet. But, down the road a bit the details will come in handy both for the election and the future players in this venture. Maybe NOT likewise doesn't want to play their cards before the gov't decides to play theirs otherwise they might be expected to participate more heavily in costs. This is a complex game and no one wants to be taken for more than their due..... and to pay less if at all possible. Wouldn't you?
