Message: A need of being very inventive in the ROF ,no incentive in the budget.
Any announcements that the Ontario government will make now are election related. They do not want to give out the goodies too early lest the electorate forgets about them come election day.

The budget was structured and presented to make the Liberals look good and the opposition as negative.

Example:

The extent of the budget deficit is overstated so that near election time they can say that the deficit will be smaller than expected so they are doing better, i.e. vote for us.

Same applies to the Ontario's north and Ring in particular:

I suspect that they will throw a 'goodie' with respect to a road into the Ring or in combination with one or more of the native communities.

I say road because in my opinion a road is the most politically correct item to provide just before election.

IF there is an announcement with Cliffs involved then it has to involve KWG because I would bet on the rail line. Cliffs needs rail more than the road. Same applies to the electrical power line.

With rail line going in early I would kiss good bye to the smelter location being in Sudbury or Thunder Bay, it would likely be much closer to the source of the ore. Why haul all the ore out when one can do so with only a fraction as concentrate or final ferrochrome.
