Hi Brattymack,
You write:
"the source seems credible enough although it's a blog"
The blog was posted by a radio station Posted by The Giant 105.3 News at 12:49 PM
Another radio station: 89.5 mix/fm CJRL Kenora also posted the same.

The local radio stations were reporting on this ROF highlight. If you were a non member of NOMA, for $450 you would have the ability to be present during the 3 day event which closes today. I guess the radio stations had people present for the presentation.

Today, is the last day of the event. Yesterday Thunder Bay news watch reported:
The meetings continue on Friday, with a mining development panel, a Growth Plan update and a minister’s forum featuring Gravelle, Ministry of Natural Resources Linda Jeffrey and John Milloy, the m minister of training, colleges and university among the Day 3 highlights.
I will see what I can find out about "the discussion with the mining development panel", after today's meeting.
