Did you notice the error in the Daily Commercial News Noront Article published yesterday? I am sure people are wondering if spending 1 billion dollars is justified for a discovery that has 1.8 million tonnes measured and 1.1 million tonnes inferred.
The reality is VERY Different.
Daily commercial states 2.9 million tonnes. Reality is 21.6 million tonnes. Chromite....of course, not mentioned...at all.
From Daily commercial news yesterday:
Eagle's Nest is Noront's most advanced project. Is a magmatic sulphide deposit with an estimated 1.8 million tones of measured resource and another 1.1 million tones of inferred resources.
The True Reality is :
The NI 43-101 Resource estimate for Eagle's Nest deposit hassignificantly increased and is now estimated to contain:
Main Zone
-
Measured and Indicated resource of 11.0million tonnes grading 1.78% Ni,0.98% Cu, 0.99 gpt Pt and 3.41 gpt Pd and 0.20 gpt Au;
-
Inferred resource of 9.0 million tonnes grading 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au;
East Zone
-
Inferred resource of 1.6 million tonnes grading 0.31% Ni, 0.09% Cu, 0.12gpt Pt and 0.45gpt Pd and 0.04 gpt Au;
