"You can kick and scream all you want but no one is listening in the Cliff camp. They have a plan in place and they will do what's best for Cliff.

First. I figuratively nor literally am screaming. Second, not listening is a downfall. Third, how Cliff feels is no secret. They are not invincible. They seem to think they are.

And, if "they could not care less what we have to say", then I shudder to think if "they could care less what we have to say".
