I beg to differ about election results being a material matter for the north. The liberals winning supported strongly by unions is a result that I feared. I believe that the PC with Hudak from rural Fort Erie with his back ground as minister of northern affaires and mining would of been much more positive for us. I cannot imagine Dalton making a big push for northern development when Toronto and Ottawa and other urban centers voted him in.
I hope to eat my words but I see this election as another stick in northern development. Luckily for Noront, they have a mining plan which requires minimal infrastructure and as such, are in a better position than Cliff's which needs infrastructure it big time.
