rj, I concur completely with your remarks, particulary when you say that priciples are more important than ratings, (which are really not important at all in that they are manipulated and gamed by dullards who must feel they are "getting even" with those who speak out against the broadcasting of prejudicial material).

I have been back and forth from Vice President to Treasurer many, and I mean many, times, almost always after a posting which speaks out against bigotry.

The types that do this have rendered the rating system useless, though at best it does not have very much meaning in an open forum. I would not bother with this ratings subject at all, except that it's abuse does point out the small-mindedness of our heroic anti-Indian brigade
