There is room and need for both routes. The east west FNs support is because of the southern iceroad reliability is in question and the north south favours those communities in that area. The east west is already established and can be used for the construction of the mines and to have the north south route be started from both ends as it is more intensive. The short route is not favoured on the north south as it bypasses the communities so some form of other road network wil be needed with the railroad. This will all work out positive for all business, companies, and FNs. We are going to see a new area of Ontario opened up to tourism and some parts will be commercial. There will also be great new parks and wild areas set aside. These are all part of the negotiations. There will be new jobs far outreaching the mines. I am watching with interest even if I am not making money, it is nice to have an inside part of the whole process that I would never of known if I was not so invested.
