I'd just like to comment on a couple items you posted...
"He commented on Wes' departure stating that Wes did a great job getting us through the feasibility but we needed to look for someone who can now handle the financing and raising of capital.
I do not have a word for word quote but his words pointed towards the Noront Board seeing a clear need that they now need someone who can promote and raise money."
First person that comes to mind is RN.
-- when we had Windfall only....only Windfall....RN had the stock price to $1.00
-- financings were done above $4.00 a share after only poking a few holes in the ROF
-- with RN, his excitement was contagous...and the benefit of his actions spread all accross the ring of fire
-- with RN, we may have been successful at taking out FWR ourselves....or at the very least forming a JV with all the ROF companies to everyone's benefit
-- with RN, there were no problems with the natives
What a mess this board has made. Wes has accomplished nothing besides bringing the stock price to an amount I never thought possible.....never in my wildest dreams did I ever think anyone could bring this down to .25. You put great job and Wes in the same sentence and it makes me want to puke.
And now, with a pat on the back he is gone.
I can't help but wonder if his sole purpose was to bring the stock price here....where we are now.
There's an interesting interview given by Jim Sinclair where he discusses how people in the market are paid a certain price to bring a stock price to a certain level....they are very calculated and loosing money is no deterrent as they are paid a fee to acheive their objective.
I often questioned why Wes did what he did.....I often questioned his motives....I often suspected he was either purposeful in his actions or incompetent. Regardless; as far as I'm concerned, it is mission accomplished...and now he's moved on.
It seems that the task at hand now is the financing...or is it a takeout....
Whatever the case.....how convenient for someone
