I don't post much anymore but when I read this post by From_Sudbury I just had to acknowledge his factual account of the issues that i was aware of way back when.
The retaining of Wes by Hamilton and the ARU crew as they were called at the time was done, (in many of our opinions at the time), to be a "front man" and nothing more. And.. in our opinions we feel that he performed that job admirably. Just look at the sp.
Its a shame what has happened.
From_Sudbury is bang on with all of his statements regarding Dick Nemis.
Windfall-The nicest gold hit the venture has seen in Canada sent the stock soaring from 6 cents.
The prerequisite for obtaining the property in the ROF was a drill hole. Bang! Up it went again.
Now thank God for Mr. Nemis, there is electricity in the air. The exitement is palpable. Bold has a lot of land and 3 rigs. If or I should say when they drill and hit chromite which I am fairly certain they will, there just may be another new king of the ring and it won't be Cliffs.
There is a movement afoot that involves KWG, BOLD, and several others in my opinion to turn things around.
A railroad will go in. It may take awhile but it is the only feasable way to transport out all of the ores and chromite. A road will not work. The trucks will pound a road to smitherines like bombing runs. It will take aggregate to keep the road up but there is very little. A rail line and a service road will be it.
NOT sp will rise very soon in my humble opinion. Perhaps as soon as the judgement comes down or perhaps upon the Government's announcements of their entry. The pressure is on gang. Hold your shares. We just may get back to the way things were ways back when. Some battle scars to be sure but none the less we will be back.
The NOT attempted takeout of FWR was a huge mistake which many of you know I fought with my heart and soul. That attempted takeout unfortunately set the share price for all things ROF. The first offer from the ARU crew was around 50 cents. An insult for Ontarians. A slap in the face. Cliffs knight in shining armour buy out of a buck was another slap in the face. Cliffs continues to slap us now. Look what they are doing or have been doing to KWG. Well if they want KWG, they won't get it for a few cents. They will pay a lot more and we will all get fair value for our resources. There is still sp suppression at KWG. Lots of 1000 shares per trade back and forth to keep it down.
Well Frank and Richard and John and all of the good honest guys want a "last hourah". They may be retiring soon but before they do...Watch out Cliffs. Those guys on the diaz who won the honors have got their heads together now. You don't have a chance Cliffs.
By the way. There will be no hot air balloons or swamp buggies hauling out nickel as Wes an his ilk attempted to promote. And the winter roads. A winter road would never handle that pressure.
In closing I'd like to wish all of you good luck and above all, take care of your health. Life is good
