Yes buy canadian, but that is not enough.
It would mean more local jobs but not the windfall that some of you may hope for, in my opinion of course.
The main problem is not that canadians do not buy enough of their own products but that international corporations are going off shore ( mainly China) for their sources.
It is not the unions, but the big conglomerates are the ones that dictate not only what your resources cost but that you are obligated to sell to them ( prime example is Alberta's oil), where the finished products come from and how much you have to pay for them all.
It is a joke on us for being complacent in accepting those rules from the all mighties.
