"I still believe strongly that we have only seen the tip of the iceberg in regards to the resource"
VoilĂ the key point! The discovery effect of Noront has been had in 2007. We are now in the 'development stage'. So about all what we have in front of us now is spending, spending, spending. On the other hand, we are still drilling once in a while...
Unless more huge discovery is made along the way, I think one should not expect a short-term 1000% spike in the share price. (As an exemple, I look to SWY share price since they got the government commitment to infrastructure (the road is now well advanced in construction), and despite outstanding proven diamonds to mine, the share price remains 'flabby'!)
Also, as one poster pointed out, scission, merger, takeover, etc... can happen any day and suddenly shift the outcome... At an average price of 85 cents for my part I will certainly appreciate a shift sooner than later!
