I do not know what you mean by 'service road'. A service road could just be a gravel road? To me it would be a N/S road paralleling the rail way. In my opinion paralleled is unnecessary. Cliffs wanted a road because they could not get their way with respect to the KWG railway.

I am also against a 400 series road due to same reasons, initial cost and maintenance.

What I am for and consider absolutely necessary is the E/W road and it could be a 100 series, paved all weather ( not just a service road). It would meet the needs of the native communities and most likely of Noront aslo.
