Message: Thinning crowd of junior miners provides both opportunity and risk

Babjak, One of the reasons I have been looking at NOT is because of the involvement of RCF. Having the backing of a strong cash source and leadership of David Thomas.

RCF now owns over 45 million shares of NOT, about 20% of the company. Most was acquired privately with open market purchases of 1.125 million shares in March 2012. All this info is available at SEDI.ca. The purchases this year and last week were carried out privately, not on the open market.

So, If you had already invested over $25 million in a company would you not take a vested interest in it's operations and do everything you can (including taking extra shares) to preserve the cash position and solvency of the company?

Of course you would!!

David Richardson did the same thing with Prodigy Gold (Formerly Kodiak). The company was eventually sold but at a much lower price than Richardson's total investment.

There is never 100% certaintly but NOT seem to have a lot going for it.
