The Lowlands are only remote because they do not have road access.

Once the road is in place it will no longer be, or more precisely, Should not be considered remote. Even with road in place some will call it remote because it is north for them.

Whitehorse with good connections is considered remote by many and it is way further north than our Lowlands. Some may even say same about Edmonton.

That is the difference between now and what is expected to be at some future date with the Ring.

Just consider how remote it will be if there is also rail access. I say no more than the oil sands are now.
