rickford's statement seems somewhat disrespectful in timing in that he appears to being taking away the importance of what gravelle will say/has said? in his keynote address. he should have buttoned his lip and given the federal's stance at the proper moment when he was to deliver his keynote speech.

not sure what rickford could say now at the conference as anything would be anticlimatic. certainly not a vote getter.
