I heard Bruce Jago, president of the Goodman School of Mining at Laurentian U, interviewed on the CBC (from PDAC) this morning.

He was asked his opinion of the RoF and yesterdays announcements. His answer was that the mining industry has long ago forgotten about the RoF....it is a non issue in the mining world.

Other than junior minimg companies Noront and KWG, the mining industry has bigger fish to fry.

Clearly his message was that this announcement is just lip service and until governments are prepared to commit significant funding, mining companies will continue to ignore the RoF.
