Edgy,
The article did not state Ontario is funding.....
It mentioned a nickel copper project in Ontario.
Another friend just paid for the subscription and emailed me the piece and with his permission I am posting the relevant portion below:(It's interesting that this article came from Sugarland , Texas)
"The Metals & Minerals Industry leads all other industries in the total value of Ontario projects set to begin construction in third-quarter 2015, at $811 million. The majority of that amount is attributed to a single project: Noront Resources Limited's (Toronto, Ontario) $509 million construction of the Eagle's Nest nickel-copper mine near Webequie. The project involves constructing a 1.1 million-ton-per-year, underground blast-hole stoping operation with a 3,000-ton-per-day flotation mill to produce 150,000 tons per year of ore concentrate. The mine is expected to have an 11-year life. The produced concentrate will be trucked to Noront's planned transload facility near Savant Lake for distribution. Cementation Canada Incorporated (North Bay, Ontario) is performing design-engineering services for the project, which is set to be completed in first-quarter 2018."
