That study is for the four communities to determine the details of the path E/W is to take.

As for any other routes Noront at this time is only required to consult with any communites as to how they would be affected, possibly provide it's input as to why one over another, and how these routes would affect environment.

There is no need to fund studies of the other routes until perhaps sufficient details are available and provided as to what they are and routes taken.
