Message: Double trouble?

With these two recent statements from different sources it seems very concerning that infrastructure announcements are very distant. With all the recent FN activity they seem hard to believe. With the lack of mention in the mining development strategy report it seems possible. Confused...

"Last summer, Kathleen Wynne made Ring of Fire development a central part of her election platform. A year later it turns out there won’t be any money until 2018-19 — after the next provincial election."

“We don't control commodity pricing, but the industry is cyclical. We're in a tough period right now, but it will come back,” Gravelle added.

The province will be ready to invest in Ring of Fire infrastructure when the mining sector bounces back and commodity prices improve, Gravelle said.
