50% of the natives who belong to these reservations already live off reserve, there is no reason that the other 50% can't as well. Instead of spending money to keep them on the reserve we would all be better off to spend money on getting them off the reserve. The migration of peoples has been going on for 100's of thousands of years, if the FN ancestors had taken the attitude the reservation residents do, they would all still be living in Asia. Having to move is a fact of life and the FN and the government had better get used to it.
