You are both right and wrong - people do believe what they wish for, otherwise no one would invst in juniors - there is now way of knowing the final outcome, you need to believe and hope for the slamdunk.

If investing was a matter of knowledge alone, nobody would be here and start ups would never have a chance of getting financed.

But anyway, i rose an eyebrow about the price - was it because no one would finance them at a higher level, or it is as simple as you suggested - just an average of a couple weeks SP?
If it just was an average of the SP, they could have changed it up to a minute before publishing as nobody knew about it anyway or they could have waited a couple of days or weeks.
As you stated we will probably never know, but of course investors a mad, and they are entitled to.
