Message: Province announces $13 million climate change initiative for First Nations

Ha Ha, even if they spent 130 million it would do little. Climate is a global issue so what is done locally means little and half of that 13 is to go towards more talk and plans. Results is what is needed.

Not much talk needed to know that winter roads are mostly useless and too costly. What is needed is to spend a dollar to save two or three. By that is the construction of all season roads even if they are mostly made of gravel.
A dollar spent on such will not only relieve spending on expensive fuel delivery ( with more polution) but it drives the costs down of just about all other present services and many more that are not but with a road are then possible.

As for climate, they will talk to no end about where a road could go to reduce polution and harm to local fauna but forget that all those diesel burning generators ( add wood burning to heat homes) cause polution. one is replacing the former with a road making possible lower cost, hardship and damage.

p.s. Forgive me, all of you here know the above but I repost these thoughts just in case some bureucrat is doing some head scratching while surfing the net, reads, and has an awakening.

Patience and More patience, Ed.
