It is an issue of time vs. revenue generation. The fastest way to make some money is to build the road and start up Eagle's Nest. As far as chromite is concerned that will take much longer, probably 10 years of more. The question is can Noront hang on for that long? They were unable to raise any money for Eagle's nest development even though it is profitable at current metal prices ( not so for chromite). The chances of raising money for chromite development are even less. Noront needs to get Eagle's Nest going, the chromite is irrelevant at this time. The more that attention is focused on the chromite the less likely that the Noront share price will go up. Ask yourself if chromite and the railroad are so great then why is KWG stock still trading for pennies? Why haven't the Chinese bought up their stock? For only $50 million or less they could buy the entire company.
