You really can't tie any investment by the federal government to the "ear-marked" funding by the provincial government. If you do we will never see any new funding.

The provincial government to date has made it known several times they have committed $1B to the ROF. So far they have spent next to nothing, all along blaming both the mining companies for no concrete plans and the feds for no matching funds. If they had not wasted the last 3 years with their special ROF committe and planning how to "get it right" I think we would have seen not only more action from the federal government , but also from the stock market.
