Funkey1 - "It is too easy to say it is politics or FN keeping things up."
Au contraire, it IS easy and right to the point, imho. I have been saying this all along because it is very obvious to me and feel it shoud be so to every one else. Nor have I seen any good reason to change my view.
I share Auminer's opinion regarding Chinese and Noront. The reason Bao has not progressed further with NOT is due to the basic infrastructure delivery being on hold. I think that Bao did not come in to deliver a road or railway for us but, as you Funkey also imply, to get some of our metals as a source of supply for them.
They must regard as me that road access is a provincial responsibility and more so, an Obligation.
As for Chinese and KWG's rail, Chinese are there to do feasibility study and perhaps to build the railway. They will not move if the politics surrounding the Ring do not improve. To say more is just wishfull thinking at this point in time.
I happen to be of the opinion that Chinese presence with Noront is many times more significant then it is with KWG. I speak as a Noront investor ( and biased?) for that reason.
