Edgy,
You don't need multiple roads to access the ROF minerals
Originally Cliffs wanted the North South because it was the most direct.
The idea of multiple studies was to allow additional connections to reserves which would allow them to benefit from the available jobs and opportunties.
If Marten falls pairs up with investors and takes care of one route making it a toll route, and the gov't pays the extra cost to connect the other reserves..what is wrong with that?
Do you think the gov't would be upset by not footing the whole bill?
Do you actually think Marten Falls & their investors have not been in conversation with gov't?
Look at the plan by Watay to connect 17 remote reserves? Do you notice the missing Marten Falls, Webequie, Nestantaga, Eatameboong...showing no interest in connection....with the Watay team?

Wataypower is paired up with FortisOntario..(FortisOntario is the only investor owned electricity distribution utility in the province of Ontario.)
The 4 remaining reserves are most likely partnered up with another investor(s) yet to be announced.
