What of traditional land of the near extinct Hurons. If one tribe does not respect another then what does it say about the whole idea of Traditional.
So it has to be Yes and No.

Yes because before Europeans came they were the only ones on the land.
BUT it has to be understood that a tribe on the west coast has little to say about land on the east coast.
I argue that land can be claimed only by the nearest community and any one place is not shared by two or more tribes, i.e. exclusivity. Hence I say only Webequie should be claiming traditionality with respect to the Ring of Fire.

Finally there is the question of what 'Tradition' actually means.
My limited understanding is that the tribes near the Ring actually came from the north shore of Lake Superior and are not native to the Ring.
