On October 11, Minister Michael Gravelle will tour the Noront Resources Ltd. Esker camp in the Ring of Fire region, located about 500 km north east of Thunder Bay.

Minister Gravelle will be joined by Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation David Zimmer on a tour of the site.

The Ring of Fire is one of the most promising mineral development opportunities in Ontario in 100 years. Chromite (used to make stainless steel) and nickel are the two most significant development opportunities in the Ring of Fire.
