Been There,
you mention in your post:
It’s interesting to speculate but I suspect we won’t see any significant staging of construction equipment etc until there is a formal announcement.
I see it this way.
August 21, 2017, Wynne made a road announcement, or we can call it a formal announcement.
It was even video taped to avoid any misunderstanding or twist of facts by the ...media
We got excited.
This excitement lasted less than two days.
with voting June 7...formal announcements will not cut it for Wynne since we all saw the end result of the previous FORMAL announcement.
The trust was completely broken after the August 21 ...fiasco.
People will except nothing short of shovels..and bulldozers and perhaps Wynne riding the bulldozer
Problem is.....if you wait until May as an example...after yet ANOTHER formal announcement....will the winter roads allow you to haul the heavy equipment that you need to start construction....to prove this is not another...letdown.
You mention, The winter road season is very short ...
I completely understand that convoys are used to haul a lot of stuff...food supplies etc..
But, with a total of Ninety two employees at Matawa First Nation Management ....and keeping in mind the title of Kaitlyn, do you think her tweet had to do with ...something like food or simple supplies coming...
Kaitlyn Mauracher Infrastructure Specialist/Project Manager.... Matawa
