yesterday Tesla came out with an announcement
It's an offtake agreement for 25% of the future supply of lithium from Kidman resources.
Kidman is expecting to be in production in 2021....and they don't even have their feasibility study out yet??

This summer they are announcing the location of where the refinery will be located....much like Noront announcing where their location of the smelter will be.
Tesla did state a while ago that they would work deals directly with mining companies to secure supply. ..And they have started to do so with Kidman.
Apparently, Kidman is discussing offtakes with other companies too.
This company is considered Cinderella in the lithium world because their cash cost of production puts them in the first quartile ...same as Noront for their nickel...

So Elon Musk made a deal yesterday with a mining company who does NOT have a feasibilty study done yet and has not even selected where the refinery will be ..and is expecting to be in production 2021.
And this offtake was for a material described as the sprinkling of salt on a salad.
Do you think he'll want an offtake agreement for the nickel , graphite?
Last July, Kidman did a JV deal with SQM out of Chile. Kidman gave SQM 50% of the company for $110million.
I'm sure the shareholders were not pleased based on the dip in Kidman's price after that announcement, but as it stands today the market cap of kidman is approx 4x larger than the day the deal was done..last July.

Do you think Elon has his eyes on Noront as a potential supplier??
Nickel treaty 9, Graphite, treaty 9, Northern ontario...approx distance from Nevada 2,500 Miles.
Australia to Nevada is approx 8300 miles.
and carbon tax for the fossil fuels in transportation ..will be a factor in decision making.
He can get that Nickel-Graphite salad right from Northern Ontario and just about everything else he needs to make his EV cars .....
Northern Ontario can give him everything.
