Ringer, the statement of "wary of Doug Ford", is interesting.
While, we haven't seen him in action, yet, ..Doug seems like more of a...negotiator.
As an example

Chief Isadore Day is calling paying taxes ....Violence against our people???
Really?
So in a world of supposed equality...can we also assume that being forced to pay taxes as we do is violence against us??
The rules were : If you are living off reserve you pay taxes like anyone else. It doesn't matter if the business is registered on reserve.
If you were unsure...the CRA has a phone #. I've called them myself in the past regarding a question to do with TFSA....so that I wouldn't have a problem later down the road.
If I didn't make this call, and subsequently got a big bill...it would be entirely my fault...
I would have no right to call it CRA violence.
===========================================================
I'm curious about something....now that Doug is coming into power June 29.
A while back I did this post.

My question here is ....in light of the CRA "violence" ...that Isadore is speaking about...
Will this "violence" apply to Wayne Moonias ...the current chief of Neskantaga??
If you read my old post he was working OFF reserve for years in Thunder Bay...Did "he" pay income tax during this period??
