I understand the physics of electricity (loads, induction, resistance, conductance...), but know absolutely nothing about power distribution and its limitations. I too have a feeling it is a viable option and has been considered, even if it requires retrofitting existing support structures and upgrading the network to do so; theoretically. But I had no idea, or perhaps forgot, that our forum member Herbertwiebe was a line-man. Thanks again for this.
Well... Here's to hoping Herbertwiebe reads my post and answers my question. Especially with all the other electrical line options being miles, and possibly years, away from this one. The Victor Mine is definitely the closest and quickest option to supply the Ring with power, and I am sure Five Nations Energy, along with Quebec Hydro, would be more than happy to provide it.
