What I like the most is that Mick is not just a passive investor.  With Nextsource "Sir Davis will also become the company’s chairman".

Noront may not be derisked as much as he would like but the potential gains for his investors are huge with such a low SP and such large stranded assets in the ground.  Mick got into Next at 6.5c per share and it is now at .44

Our beloved Babjak1 pointed out that Noront has no COO and that Mick might show up and fill the position.  This would follow the pattern of Nextsource.  We can only wish.

Missing the Babjak1 insights and hoping for a return to the board as the insight is greatly missed.

This article although about Nextsource shows what Mick can do for a company.   “He’s not in this to be a passive investor, he wants to grow it and steer it with expertise. He wants us to grow into a global battery material producer. He didn’t invest in us to have a 17,000 tonne a year mine. He wants us to be a fully integrated battery anode producer, and control the whole supply chain.”  “The fact that we are fully financed by Sir Mick Davis has now caused companies to approach us and say, ‘Can we buy from you?’”

It could have easily been Zen but their SP would not give Mick's investors such a huge pop.  Zen seems to have a slightly higher grade of graphite but Next can easily fill the EV void for Mick.
