When somebody get's a majority control = sale of shares?

When somebody get's a majority control = sale of shares?

Question : If somebody “all of a sudden” gets a majority control (not sure if this would be 51 or 62 percent which I read in a post) what than?

Will I still be able to sell my shares into the open market? Or will I be to late in case it's goes private and off the stock exchange. Can't imagine that will happen overnigth but nevertheless.

I’m really afraid that when things play out and there is a decent number (for me al above 5) that I’m stuck with my shares as the highest bidder at that moment has control of NOT. And therefor is not interested anymore in my shares.

I usually do my shares in Europa because that is where I live so any advise is welcome.

Any thoughts?
