Last week a very small article appeared on the Canoe website. "662 hand guns were seized at the U.S. border, mostly hidden in large trucks, about 500 of them were seized at Ontario crossings" This was over a one year period. All confiscations resulted in charges being layed. As all charges were against U.S. citizens not one of them returned to Canada to face their charges.

Funny I never seen the article appear in any major newspaper and for sure not in any Toronto paper. If Mayor Miller and bentonstocks wants to do something about hand guns then I suggest they concentrate on the smuggling of guns and the fact that no one charged ever appears in court.

While I own no hand guns I do own hunting guns and will defend the right of Canadians who can meet the very strict regulations now in place before one can own a handgun.
