Perhaps I didn't understand your original post, but I stand by my assertion that the vast majority of the consuming public doesn't give a crap about why POET is the next giant in IC manufacturing, they just want longer battery life at a smaller cost.
Sure, a nice video will help bring a few people in, but if you're talking about investors, only revenue will interest them. If you're talking about consumers, see the above and make a video to show them how their battery will last an extra 5 days between charges.
The manufacturers decide what the consumers will want, and because POET will be cheaper to build, thereby increasing their profit margins, I'm betting they will choose POET. Then the manufacturers can fill the airwaves with the glories of POET and everyone is happy. That's the beauty of POET; it sells itself, no advertising budget required.
Trying not to be argumentitive but I doubt the company would allow itself to be taken over in a hostile manner...ever. AC has been through that and will not allow it to happen again IMO.
Whether POET is trying to fly under the radar is irrelevant to me, but clearly that is the case as they sure as hell don't toot their own horn much. They will when they're ready, which is fine with me. My argument has always been the the media couldn't find needle in a sewing factory.
Thanks for your response.
